Samson AR-10 “Star10” Free Float Handguard
Samson has thrown their hat into the ring with three new AR-10 FREE FLOAT HANDGUARDS. So far I have only seen these for sale at Brownells
The STAR-10 fits the mid-length standard height AR 10 receiver. It is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, then hard coat anodized to match the color of your rifle. It has a free-floating design so accuracy is maintained by not interfering with the barrel sonics. A new take down pin design helps with installation and there is no need to remove the front sight base or make any permanent modifications to your rifle. The forearm clamps to the barrel nut and prevents rotation of the barrel nut during usage.

All four rails are 1913 Mil-Spec and are placed to align with the upper receiver of the AR 10 rifle. Venting holes have been machined between the rails to make the handguard lighter and allow heat to escape without burning the non-firing hand during operation. The bottom rail can be removed to accommodate the M 203 launcher. The handguard and rails form a continuous top rail for optics. With the Samson STAR-10 handguard your AR 10 rifle will have the best accessory mounting system you can get and you can easily install it.
